Safe YOU is an online service, which is a safety application for women, to help them to get protection from violence. The application is free for all the users.
It is a safety application, which provides the following services:
1. Choosing the right organization in your country: we provide a list of organizations, which provide support to women. If you choose an organization, you can receive a call or an SMS from the organization itself. If you do not choose an organization, you can get information about the nearest organization.
2. Helping you to find the right contact in your country: we provide information about the nearest contact of the selected organization.
3. Choosing the right service provider: we provide information about the service provider, which is offering support to women.
4. The help function: by pressing and holding the green button, you can send a free alert SMS with your geo-location to up to 7 previously chosen contacts.
5. Audio recording: you can record a minute-long audio recording, by pressing and holding the green button. The audio recording is kept in the recordings’ library and can be sent to service providers and the police or deleted at any time.
6. Network: in the Network section of the app, you can find relevant information, such as contact details, hotlines, mapped location, website and social media links on nearby women's rights NGOs, governmental organizations, and individual specialists, supporting women in different ways.
